EVERETT – Spokane saw five players drive in at least one run in a 6-3 win against host Everett on Saturday.

The Indians (26-24) were highlighted by a 2 for 4 day from shortstop Andy Perez. Perez hit a two-run double to right field, giving Spokane a 5-0 lead in the fifth inning.

Jared Thomas added an RBI single in the sixth inning for Spokane.

Everett (23-26) tried to rally with home runs from Charlie Pagliarini and Josh Caron.

Spokane starter Michael Prosecky was able to navigate six innings, allowing two runs and striking out seven to pick up the win.

The Spokane bullpen held up Prosecky’s quality start. Spokane reliever Cade Denton earned the save and closed out the game with a swinging strikeout of highly-touted Mariners prospect Lazaro Montes with runners on first and second base.

Seattle Mariners draft pick Jurrangelo Cijntje started for Everett and stumbled through two innings, giving up three runs in the process.

The series concludes Sunday at 4:05 p.m. in Everett.
